Shadaé Williams
Director of Social Services
Glo Emergency Shelter

Hi, I’m Shadaé Williams! I proudly serve as the Director of Social Services at Glo Emergency Shelter, where my mission is to create safe, empowering spaces for individuals and families during times of transition. I’m a proud alumna of the illustrious Morgan State University and New York University, and as a true Brooklyn native, I bring both heart and hustle to everything I do.

One of my favorite quotes comes from Beyoncé:
“Don’t try to lessen yourself for the world; let the world catch up to you.”
This inspires me to lead with confidence and authenticity every single day.

With a background spanning Education Systems, Social Services, and Mental Health, I specialize in trauma-informed care, emotional wellness, and community advocacy. My passion lies in helping people feel seen, safe, and supported and nothing excites me more than witnessing clients’ growth and celebrating their wins along the way.

As a solution focused leader, I thrive when plans turn into action and results speak for themselves. Outside of work, I love interior design, fashion, fitness, and cats (yes, cats!). Fitness is my favorite hobby because it’s the perfect blend of mental clarity and physical movement the best of both worlds.

At Glo, I strive daily to ensure our team operates at its highest potential because caring for, encouraging, and motivating those we serve is not just our job it’s our calling.
