Uniquia Waterman

Uniquia Waterman serves as the Program Director for an Office of Mental Health residential program, overseeing clinical services, daily operations, and the program budget to ensure high-quality, compliant care that supports positive client outcomes. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications from The Pennsylvania State University and her Master of Social Work from Hunter College, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, Uniquia began her career in OMH supportive housing before transitioning into healthcare and eventually returning to the non-profit sector. She is passionate about serving individuals living with mental health challenges and is dedicated to making a lasting, positive impact in their lives. She likes that her job challenges her to think critically and creatively in ways she finds fulfilling.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, picnicking, gardening, visiting amusement parks, and relaxing at the beach. Her favorite quote is “Laughter and healing can exist in the same room”
